Good morning. Today's Factwire has xAI's new all-in-one X Subscription, Google's Gemini 4 Argon going wide, and Meta's Muse Wonder models built to remember you.

One plan now covers Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium

In one line: xAI folded its chatbot, its Bot teammates, the Cursor coding app and X Premium into a single subscription with five price levels.

What happened:

  • The tiers are Free, Plus at $8, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a month.

  • xAI says the $30 tier bundles SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+, which cost $90 a month combined.

  • Current subscribers can stay put or switch for a prorated refund, and xAI's docs say the switch can't be undone (switch FAQ).

Why it matters: If you pay for two of these apps today, this could cut your bill, but check the math before you make a one-way switch.

xAI, Oct 12, 2026.

Factwire's take: Bundling is how big platforms keep you around, and this one is aggressive on price. The $30 tier is the real story for anyone already paying for Grok and X. Just remember that leaving the old plan is permanent, so wait until the switch shows up in your billing settings and compare first.

Hit reply: would one plan for chat, coding and X get you to pay, or switch?

Musk said vs. the record

Starlink 800 MHz: Musk said the 800 MHz deal is the last key spectrum piece SpaceX needs for complete phone coverage across the US. @elonmusk on X, Oct 8, 2026.
Pending: the deal is signed but still needs FCC approval, and complete coverage would only come after it closes.
Record: SpaceX's FCC transfer application, Oct 8, 2026, and Grain's sale release, Oct 8, 2026.

Cybercab Austin: Musk said Cybercab is scaling, quoting Tesla's @robotaxi post that 300+ Cybercabs now run in Austin, up 8x in 30 days. @elonmusk on X, Oct 11, 2026.
Pending: Texas lists a large Tesla robotaxi fleet, but no regulator backs the 300+ Austin figure, and a federal audit of Cybercab safety certification is still open.
Record: TxDMV automated vehicle registry, Tesla Robotaxi authorized since May 14, 2026, and NHTSA audit AQ26002, opened Sep 3, 2026.

Google's Gemini 4 Argon is now open to developers and Pro and Ultra subscribers

In one line: Google made its newest frontier model, Gemini 4 Argon, generally available to developers, companies and paying Gemini users.

What happened:

  • Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can use it in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search, and Ultra members also get it in the Antigravity coding tool.

  • Developers pay an intro rate of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through Nov 30, then $4 and $20.

  • Google pitches it for coding, business work and cyber defense, and says it ranks first on the Vals Index, a claim based on that benchmark.

Why it matters: Paid Gemini users get Google's newest frontier model in tools they already use, with no new app to learn.

Meta's new Muse Wonder models are built to remember what matters to you

In one line: Meta released Muse Wonder and a larger Muse Wonder Full, models made to power personal and work agents that keep track of you over time.

What happened:

  • Muse Wonder is live on the Meta Model API and in Muse Code, and Muse Wonder Full is open to Muse Code subscribers.

  • Meta says the models carry key details across chats and ask you before doing anything big, and its benchmark wins are its own tests.

  • The Muse app gets Muse Wonder later, starting with subscribers.

Why it matters: An assistant that remembers your context is more useful and more personal, so it's worth watching what Meta keeps and how.
